Our Summer Impact: What We Offer and Why It Matters

As warmer weather approaches, we start thinking about summer activities for #areuin? card members. Summer camps and other activities are places where kids not only stay active and engaged but also grow in confidence, creativity, and independence. Whether it’s a day camp, sports themed, or an overnight excursion, summer camps offer experiences that last a lifetime.

The American Camp Association (ACA) conducted a multi-year study about the impact of summer camps on youth outcomes. They found that “high-quality camp experiences may  promote youth outcomes, with the most compelling evidence emerging in relation to affinity for nature, independence, and social awareness.” Kids that were able to participate in high quality camp experiences were engaged, felt a sense of belonging, and took part in action-based experiential learning, all important for youth development.

At The KEY Collective we believe all kids, regardless of financial means, should have access to high quality summer activities. We are proud to partner with a number of organizations that offer scholarships and discounts to #areuin? card members to participate in summer activities. Check out a sample below!
