ForestKids

About the Organization

ForestKids seeks to bring regular nature-based outdoor experiences directly into your child’s life in a dependable and safe way. ForestKids hopes to help meet some of the unprecedented demand for nature connection programing and offset increased screen-based childhoods. ForestKids gets your children off their screens and into collaborative, guided outdoor play!

These all-outdoor nature immersion classes include engaging interactive lessons on wildlife, tree, mushroom and plant ID, hiking, forest exploration, fort-building, science with a nature focus, tree climbing, confidence and collaboration-building, games and more!

We'll do nature sketching, learn about the creatures in our forest, catch snakes and frogs and find out about the myriad of birds and animals that fill our woods and marsh.

ForestKids complements classroom or home learning with regular, nature-based forest experiences in a dependable and safe way. All classes are mixed ages and open to children in grades K thru 5th. The middle school learning pod is designed for kids in grades 5th thru 10th.
