Strawbery Banke Summer Camps
About the Organization
Strawbery Banke, New Hampshire’s first Smithsonian Affiliate, brings more than 350 years of history to life in Portsmouth’s historic waterfront neighborhood. The Museum interprets a changing neighborhood and tells the stories of everyday life throughout the ages. Visitors are invited to tour historic houses on original sites, meet engaging costumed roleplayers, watch traditional craft demonstrations, and explore heirloom gardens and historical landscapes.
Strawbery Banke's camps offer hands-on opportunities for children and teens to explore history, nature, and storytelling. From pirate adventures and Victorian crafts to gardening and WWII homefront life, each camp brings the past to life in creative and memorable ways. Summer and vacation camp opportunities are available for ages 6-17. For more information and registration information, visit strawberybanke.org/camps.
