Portsmouth Travel Basketball

Portsmouth Travel Basketball (PTB) is Portsmouth, New Hampshire's community based travel basketball program. We offer Portsmouth area youth the opportunity to develop their basketball skills in a safe, supportive, and competitive environment.

PTB emphasizes sportsmanship, dedication, and teamwork. We emphasize community through increasing participation and excitement about basketball, hosting events for student athletes, and prioritizing partnerships with other Portsmouth community-based basketball programs like those offered by the Portsmouth Recreation Department.

PTB teams are competitive and have limited spots, which are filled through an evaluation try out. PTB general programming is non-competitive and open to all who are from the Portsmouth area who are interested in learning the game of basketball and improving their basketball skills.

The majority of programming is for kids in grades 3rd - 8th, with some workouts for 1st and 2nd graders. In the previous year we offered open workouts in the summer and fall, had 3-on-3 teams who competed in the fall Seacoast 3x3 league in Exeter, fielded teams to participate in the winter Seacoast Basketball League, and created teams that traveled in NH and Maine to compete in tournaments in February and March.

At this time, Portsmouth Travel Basketball is offering #areuin? card members unlimited scholarships to open workouts, and 10 full scholarships per year across our winter tournament seasons.
