About the Organization
Girls on the Run® is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. The mission of the organization is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
The program is available to girls in the 3rd-8th grade. Girls meet 2x/week for eight weeks with their volunteer coaches who teach life skills through dynamic, conversation-based lessons and fun running activities. The season culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory non-competitive 5K Celebration.

Registration is open until September 20, 2026. Season begins the week of September 14, 2026 with a season-culminating 5K event scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2026 at Memorial Field in Concord, NH .
