Nora McMorran Joins KEY Collective Board of Directors

Exeter, NH — KEY Collective is pleased to announce the appointment of Nora McMorran to its Board of Directors. A storytelling strategist and nonprofit communications professional, McMorran brings a strong background in community engagement, marketing, and mission-driven storytelling to the organization.

McMorran currently serves as the Volunteer and Marketing Manager at HAVEN, New Hampshire’s largest violence-prevention and survivor-support agency. In this role, she integrates storytelling, communications, and community engagement to help advance HAVEN’s mission and amplify the voices of those they serve.

Alongside her nonprofit work, McMorran is the founder of Just Ask Nora, a creative storytelling and social media consultancy that supports local artists, small businesses, and mission-driven brands. Through this work, she has interviewed more than 50 New England creatives and produced regional campaigns highlighting community entrepreneurship and creativity.

Her leadership and impact have been recognized by Catapult Seacoast, which named her one of its “10 to Watch” emerging young professionals, celebrating her contributions to development, marketing, and community empowerment across the Seacoast.

“As a lifelong athlete and coach, I have seen how often kids are left out of playing sports due to the cost. The KEY Collective helps break that stigma and keep more kids active and engaged. I’m thrilled to join the board to help support such an amazing cause,” said McMorran.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nora to the KEY Collective Board of Directors,” said Kristyn LaFleur, Executive Director of KEY Collective. “Her passion for community storytelling, combined with her experience in nonprofit communications and engagement, will be an incredible asset as we continue expanding access to out-of-school activities for K-12 youth across the Seacoast.”

Outside of her professional roles, McMorran enjoys spending time exploring the Seacoast through adventures, hikes, and leisurely strolls through downtown Portsmouth with her husband, Alexander, and their dog, Thorin.

The KEY Collective, founded in 2017, is a non-profit organization providing K-12 youth from low-income families throughout NH's seacoast region access to sports, arts, camps, and other youth activities for free or at a reduced cost with no red tape and no social stigma attached.
